I am a sports loving music making programmer, who doesn't mind a chick flick or two. I prefer to do my coding at a crowded restaurant over a starbucks any day, and my idea of a vacation is spending time shooting hoops in the gym or the classic Los Angeles cliche of hiking. If you have any questions or conerns whether it be coding advice, waiver wire pick ups in fantasy football, or just want a friend. Please don't hesitate to hit that contact link on the side. My responses are usual prompt being that I'm always glued to my computer. I know time is money and money is time so thank you for taking a moment to visit my portfolio page. Hope you have a wonderful day and continue to prosper my friends.
I started my coding journey by self-teaching. I did research and studied through books and online classes. I continued my voyage by signing up and attending Hack reactors Fulcrum program online. In this program we focused primarily on JavaScript and the Underscore.js framework. We went over algorithms, callbacks, closures, and several other things. At the end of the online program I knew it was only the beginning for me. What started as an interest quickly became my passion. My thirst for knowledge quickly grew, and I was excited because I knew that I had found what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So in order to continue with my progress, I researched and applied to several highly ranked coding bootcamps. I decided to attend CodeFellows in Seattle, Washington. We quickly hit the ground running. I didn’t have time to catch my breath, but I was energized by it. We used frameworks like bootstrap and foundation for designing stylish web applications, while also using frameworks like page.js for routes and Ajax calls to handle the data. I was amazed at how much knowledge I could learn in such a short amount of time. The program flew by, and by the time we were done I was able to build fully functional web applications. I used Node.js on the backend, MongoDb as a database, and AngularJS on the frontend. Despite all of the skills and knowledge that I’ve accrued over the past few months, I know one of the most valuable parts is that I have a capability of learning a great quantity in a short amount of time.
